A fragment, complete in its form and structure, is the materialised memory of a moment. An unnoticeable breeze, an allegory of metamorphosis. Lines on a fingertip, infinity is tender and fragile. Out of stone I find things that materialise. I preserve traces of time which retain some- thing from a former time and shape – time where a moment does or does not exist. My work sits on the border between the created and the vanished. The pieces require attention that makes the viewer aware of the volatility that can be held. The work is like a wing flap of imagination.
