In my artistic practice I’m constantly moving between the jeweller’s bench and the metal workshop, where I incorporate strenuous metalwork with intricate jewellery traditions. I use metalsmithing and chain weave techniques to create objects in steel and latex that can be worn and relate to the body. By using the expression of value and the communicative ability of jewellery, I aspire to promote beauty in the downgraded and volatile, through materials and processes that can testify and remind us of the natural world.
